HISTORY

Church History

The discipline that records the development of the Christian faith through time is called Church History. Many Christians today belong to different denominations, but there is a consensus among them about the origins of Christianity as revealed in the Bible. The Da Vinci Code has challenged many of these central core beliefs. In this section, you can find answers to questions raised about where the Bible came from, Constantine’s role in the formation of the Bible, and how the Bible was transmitted down through the centuries.

Alternative History

Dan Brown writes an “alternative history” without giving the reader the ability to see where his facts begin and end. This approach to past events uses speculation to oppose scholarly consensus about the facts of history in a number of areas. Literary scholars see the difference, but the average reader may not. In this section you may access topics on Gnosticism, and Secret Societies.
